Senario: Development of a National STEM Leadership Summit

The Client project required services to aid the development of a national STEM Leadership summit for three consecutive years in both Washington, DC and New Orleans, LA that engaged hundreds of leadership teams from across the United States and Puerto Rico to work on identified problems of practice related to attracting and retaining a diverse STEM teaching workforce. The Summit creates an environment to support the development of district-specific “action plans” for recruiting, retaining, and elevating minority STEM teachers to leadership roles to serve as catalysts for change.

Senario: Enhance STEM Aacademic Plan

Project that required services to enhance their current STEM academic plan with a summer learning experience for 450 middle and high school boys from across the United States. A STEM learning experience was designed to provide thematic, project-based, hands-on learning to support discovery and demonstrate how STEM professionals from different fields work collaboratively to achieve work goals and objectives.

Senario: Development of a 5-Year Action Plan

The Client project required the development of an action plan that articulated how STEM education will develop, support, enhance and drive learning in the key areas of: Chemical Process Technology, STEM: Engineering, Architecture: HVAC, and STEM Business Management: Human Resources for an inner-city public high school located in the largest school district in the state of Texas. The action plan was designed to achieve teaching and learning goals over the course of five years and training the STEM campus leader to support shifts aligned to yearly incremental steps impacting focused strategies related to:

Senario: Evaluate, Redesign, Optimise.

A Client project that required us to evaluate four STEM after-school/summer enrichment programs servicing various communities throughout Austin, Texas. We utilized their Program Quality Assessment instrument, which was designed to evaluate the quality of youth programs and identify staff training needs. The set of score-able standards provided to each of the participating non-profit agencies pinpointed best practices associated with empowering people and the organization, measuring the quality of youth experiences, and promotion and leveraging of available resources.

Senario: Annual Science & Math Night in the Community

Our client required us to support the development of an annual community math and science night at an inner-city middle school. The event was aimed at encouraging parent engagement. The teachers were trained on the implementation and facilitation of the STEM activity stations, the tool-kits and resources were prepared for each station, and supplemental edutainment vendors were secured for inaugural event.
